Dr. Tricker
Dr. Tricker grew up in Northern Indiana. He obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame. Upon graduation from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1999, he proudly began his military service in the United States Army. He obtained additional training in a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program and completed his residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii. His first assignment as an oral surgeon placed him in Wuerzburg, Germany where he served as Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery providing surgical services in Wuerzburg, Heidelberg, and at Landstuhl Army Medical Center. Dr. Tricker completed his Army career at Madigan Army Medical Center, Washington where he was honored to serve as an instructor in the Oral and Maxillofacial Residency Training Program and Director of the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program.
Dr. Tricker is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. He is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Virginia Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and the Charlottesville Albemarle Dental Society. He holds hospital privileges at Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Dr. Tricker enjoys all aspects of meeting his patients’ oral and facial needs. His areas of special interests include dental implant, tooth extraction, orthognathic, and craniofacial surgeries. Dr. Tricker and his family are excited about living in Charlottesville. His wife and two young children look forward to enjoying the beautiful outdoor opportunities in central Virginia.
Dr. Conner
Dr. Conner was raised in northeastern Ohio and completed his bachelor’s degree and DDS from The Ohio State University. During dental school he was accepted into the United States Air Force scholarship program. His first assignment in the USAF was at Sheppard AFB Texas where he completed a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency. Dr. Conner served as a general dentist for five years while stationed at Ramstein AB, Germany and Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota.
Dr. Conner completed Oral and Maxillofacial surgical residency training at the University of Oklahoma in 2008 and returned to Sheppard AFB serving as Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. In 2010, he returned to Ramstein AB and served as Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery treating wounded warriors serving in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center.
Dr. Conner is Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is a member of the Virginia Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Dental Association. He has lectured to civilian and military organizations including the West German Dental Society and the European Regional Medical Command. He holds hospital privileges at Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville. His professional interests include extractions, implants, orthognathic surgery, trauma, and pathology. Dr. Conner and his wife are excited to begin exploring the beautiful area of central Virginia. He is an avid runner and interested in Civil War history.
Dr. Jackson
Dr. Jackson is originally from the Atlanta area but is thrilled to now call Charlottesville home. After completing eight years of military service at Fort Bragg, NC and Fort Benning, GA, he is honored to be part of the CVOFS team. Dr. Jackson graduated from the University of Georgia in 2009 with a degree in chemistry. He then accepted a U.S. Army scholarship to attend the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and earned a DMD in 2013.
After graduating from Penn, Dr. Jackson was commissioned into active duty in the Army and began residency at Womack Army Medical Center. He earned his certificate in oral and maxillofacial surgery in 2017 and later served as a staff oral surgeon at Martin Army Community Hospital. While at Fort Benning, Dr. Jackson also served as an oral surgery mentor to residents of the Army’s Advanced Education in General Dentistry program and was an Assistant Professor with the Postgraduate Dental College of the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. He also spent time with a field unit in the 14th Combat Support Hospital.
Dr. Jackson is committed to the highest quality of patient care and specializes in dental extractions, dental implants, anesthesia, bone grafting, pre-prosthetic surgery, orthognathics, trauma, and oral pathology. He holds privileges at Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital. Additionally, he is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery as well as a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and member of the American Dental Association. State and local memberships include the Virginia Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons as well as the Charlottesville-Albemarle Dental Society. In his spare time, Dr. Jackson enjoys spending time with his wife, Amy, and two daughters. He is also a college football fan, aviation enthusiast, and travel hobbyist.
Dr. Solomon
A graduate of Penn State University, Dr. Solomon received his dental degree from Temple University School of Dentistry in 1986 and completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery training at Baylor University Medical Center in 1996. After achieving the rank of Captain, he retired from the US Navy after serving more than 22 years of active duty service including a tour to the Persian Gulf in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, and as staff surgeon at Naval Hospitals in San Diego, CA, Rota, Spain, Newport, RI, and Bethesda, MD.
Dr. Solomon is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is an active member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, the Baylor Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Alumni Association, the Charlottesville Albemarle Dental Society and holds the office of President with the Virginia Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Dr. Solomon’s surgical interests include wisdom teeth and dental extractions, dental implants, bone grafting/reconstruction, treatment of facial trauma, corrective jaw surgery, and the treatment of oral pathology and infections. He has lectured on topics including TMJ surgery, bone grafting, implant surgery, facial reconstruction, obstructive sleep apnea, and trauma.
Dr. Solomon is married and has two sons. He enjoys the outdoors, especially boating and fishing.
Dr. Summers
Dr. SummersDr. Summers is a graduate of the University of Louisville Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program. While in residency,
Dr. Summers gained extensive training in the broad scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including anesthesia, dental extractions, complex bone grafting and implant therapy, orthognathic surgery, facial trauma and reconstruction, oral pathology, and cleft lip and palate management. Dr. Summers obtained both her DMD and MD from the University of Louisville dental and medical schools, graduating each program with honors. She also completed a one-year general surgery internship.
Dr. Summers holds privileges at Martha Jefferson Hospital. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Summers is a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and is a member of the Virginia Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, the Charlottesville-Albemarle Dental Society, and the American Medical Association. Her professional interests include anesthesia, dental extractions and implants, bone grafting and reconstruction, orthognathic/corrective jaw surgery, trauma, and pathology. Additionally, she has enjoyed mentoring dental residents as adjunct faculty at the University of Virginia. Most importantly, Dr. Summers enjoys providing a pleasant experience for her patients and their families in a safe environment.
Dr. Summers is originally from southwestern Virginia. She obtained her bachelor of science in nursing at the University of Virginia before pursuing her graduate education in Kentucky. While at UVA, she met her husband, Todd, who is a “triple Hoo.” Dr. Summers, her husband, and their two young children are excited to live in and serve the community that they love.
